Mednarodni simpozij “Premiki prebivalstva v Evropi v 20. stoletju. Primer Istre” bo v petek 25. in soboto 26. aprila 2014 na Fakulteti za humanistične študije Univerze na Primorskem, Titov trg 5, Koper
Desetletja po povojnem spreminjanju državnih mej in politične ureditve ter posledično masovnem odhodu (večinoma) italijansko govorečih prebivalcev Istre, ostaja ta del zgodovine v marsikaterem pogledu neznan in zamolčan. Z njegovo umestitvijo v širši evropski kontekst bo simpozij skušal izboljšati razumevanje tega obdobja tako med strokovnjaki kot med širšo javnostjo.
Zaradi mednarodne udeležbe bodo predavanja potekala v angleščini, razprava pa bo omogočena tudi v slovenščini in italijanščini.
Kolokvij je organiziran s pomočjo Inštituta za italijansko kulturo, Avstrijskega kulturnega foruma in Francoskega inštituta v Sloveniji.

che si terrà venerdì 25 aprile e sabato 26 aprile 2014
presso la Facoltà di studi umanistici dell’Università del Litorale a Koper – Capodistria, Piazza Tito 5.
Decenni dopo i mutamenti delle frontiere e del sistema politico nel secondo dopoguerra che provocarono la partenza in massa della popolazione istriana maggiormente di lingua italiana, questo capitolo della storia per molti rimane sconosciuto e taciuto. Inserendo il caso istriano in un più ampio contesto europeo, il convegno tenterà di contribuire ad una migliore comprensione dell’epoca sia tra gli esperti che tra il vasto pubblico.
In quanto al convegno partecipano affermati esperti internazionali, i contributi saranno presentati in inglese, mentre il dibattito si terrà anche in sloveno e in italiano.
